Data-Matrix industrial camera
Development of a smart camera for reading the Data-Matrix Code with 26 evaluations per second. The main purpose is automated mail sorting and distribution.
Commissioning of the custom hardware and driver programming on the DSP C6211 from Texas Instruments:
- Reading out the sensor
- Video I/O with DMA support
- RS232 communication
- Flash driver
- Bootloader
- Software update via RS232
TETRA Base Station
TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) is the European digital radio standard for professional mobile communication.
A software extension of the TETRA channel assignment in the I/O driver was carried out on the DSP C6701 from Texas Instruments.
Audio algorithms in the XDAIS standard
As part of this project, an audio effects unit was developed with the evaluation board of the DSP C6713 from Texas Instruments. For this purpose, algorithms such as reverb, equalizer and flanger were designed, programmed and tested. The algorithms were implemented in TI’s XDAIS standard.
In order to be able to control the audio effects in real time, a PC software was developed under Windows. A GUI was programmed using Microsoft Visual C++. With this, the communication for control between PC and DSP was realized via UART.
